Hey wondering if anyone can help with a problem with a 2003 honda 300. The problem is with the electric shifter, it will not shift into gear sometimes and the light indicator comes on. Wondering if anyone have had the same problem? Any info would be greatly appericated

 

I will assume you are referring to the 2003 Honda Rancher 350 ES, as there is no 300 model and the Recon ES is a 250.

There was a recall on the angle sensor, check your dealership to see if you're covered.

 

I have a 2002 rubicon and a 400ex. The rubicon has hondamatic it regularly mishifts and goes between gears probably the same problem.

 

the rubicon tranny and controls are totally different from the 350 ES
