Hey, I'm new to the forums, and I'd love to say how informative they are and everything I've read already, before becoming a member. I was wondering what people think about the AC nerf bars. The ones I'm looking at are for the trx450R.

They are:
AC Racing Black Line(powdercoated black nerfs, heel guards, and i like the netting. ALso has nice foot pegs)

and

Ac Racing Honda 450R Pro Peg(heel guards included, also the foot pegs.)

I'm wondering why the pro pegs are more expensive. They both seem to have the same foot pegs, both have heel guards....the only difference i see is that the Black Lines are...well, black. I would've thought they would be more expensive. Well, the ten bucks difference or whatever doesn't matter too much, so, which once is better? Which one would you prefer?

I could be wrong as I have never seen the AC Racing Black Line, but since they are powdercoated I would assume they are steel. Steel = Rust. Go with the aluminum Pro Pegs. I have them on my R and they look great.

 

I just checked the site. The Black Line is aluminum. So I think the higher price of the Pro-Peg has to do with the fact that the pegs are built into the nerf itself. The pegs on the black like are replaceable and steel. Its really just a matter of preferance of what you think looks better.

 

I have the AC nerf bars. not pro just regular. Even with the regular ones, there nice and there very strong. They never got bent, at all or anything. I would reccomend The Ac ones. The black ones i saw on there website are also very very nice i would get them but there too much money for me.
