I've seen the ones on ebay that your talking about. They are a scam and not legit. My dad has been looking for a Rincon for mom (he'll get his 680 when we get more red ones in) and e-mailed a few of these so called sellers. Come to find out that most of them are overseas or Hawaii.

Sounds great glad you like it, but I didnt think there were any transmission changes in the 06 Rincon, I might be wrong.
I didn't think Honda changed the tranny either, thats what our Honda district service manager told me anyway. But every magazine and internet review on the 680 says they did change it.

Medic,
I never got an email or PM or anything at ATV Scene. Try it again and I'll certainly reply to your questions.

Additionally, some of the internals on the transmission have DEFINATELY been changed. Check out my article and it explains what Honda did. This info is out of the mouth of one of the engineers that designed it.

Hero,

There is nothing "Really Wrong" with the '04-'05 Rincon, but there is room for improvement: power, engine braking, carburetion, & front brakes.
It appears that Honda has addressed these issues with the 2006 model.
