Utility and a manual clutch?
#1
I own a 2000 Honda trx300FW atv. I want to install a manual clutch on it. I would think the parts would be interchangable with the trx300EX. I would buy a sport but can not image being without 4x4. Thanks in advance.

you wouldnt be able to cause the motors are set up way different and the clutch arm mounted on the outside of the motor on the 300ex wich engaues the clutch to make it work you would have no place to mount it.and you coulndt drill the whole for it cause the cases are different and the 300 ex lever wouldnt line up were it needs......trust me to much of a @ss ache

I have always thought that would be a great concept, expecialy if it was a sporty 4x4 model but yeah I belive it would be about imposible to convert a model like that because they are totaly diffrent designs. Sorry.

The closest you could probably come is to buy an older Wolverine and then talk to Mickey Dunlap (4-Stroke Tech) about a conversion kit. I know he used to convert this model to a fully manual setup.
