Honda rincon 05

You Honda guys are so funny, but looks aren't every thing. I guess you have a lot of time to think of those funny come backs while your puttering down the trails. I sure am glad Megan didn't buy that honda, I hate going back on the trail to look for them

So are you telling us that your nephew thinks you are a jerk as well? I'm sorry a sad jerk. Just admit it you made a comment about something you knew nothing about and were wrong. I can handle a 650cc+ machine. I just got me a 700cc one. You can keep checking out my pics page as I update it w/ all of my great adventures. Maybe some day you will put some pics up and we call all see the great rides you go on.
By the way my fiance is standing here and I showed him your remarks and he said to tell you that you that he can not believe you would sit here and run your mouth about someone you do not even know and to tell you I have got all the brains, *****, income, and good looks. Those were his words not mine. Oh he also says if you even have a girlfriend, he would like to see her ride a quad for 100 miles in 6 hours w/ us and that's not in no field either. Oh one other thing he says you could'nt even handle my blood. C-ya

I regret having come back to this thread. I'm out for real this time.
I'd like to wish everyone on this thread a merry Christmas and happy new year. Megan, I hope 2006 is a great year for you and your family. I wish you nothing but good times on your new ATV.
Ride safe.

I agree with stocks ATVtech1 that was done well. Megan came here for your advice and wisdom seeking an answer as to which machine was better. She asked for your help and what she got was attacked. Its not up to the guys in here to tell her what machine is too much for her. That's up to her and Maybe Jeff. I know I poked fun at the Honda guys in here but bottom line is we all love riding. What you ride is up to the person riding it. I hope no one has any hard feelings it's all good. Merry Christmas to all and have a Happy and safe New Year.

I've completed reading all 5 pages and want to add just a little to whats already been said.
Those of you that know me, know I am a ATV Safety Director/Instructor,been riding 3-4 wheelers since 1983. I to, must admit that im somewhat concerned for Megan's safety if she chooses to buy/operate a big bore ATV. She openly admits that her first ATV experience is owning a 250EX..Thats not a very big ATV.I'll admit, that for only having one month of ATV experience on the 250EX,she sounds like she's learned alot in such a short time span.
What concerns me here is the SIZE/FIT issue. Im guessing Megan weighs between 120-130lbs,I hope im not TOO wrong with my guess?[lol]I know how most women are with weight issues. If im WAY off Megan,I beg for your forgiveness.
What many beginning ATV operators dont seem to understand is that the operator must ALWAYS be in control of the ATV that they are navigating, and when you take too little of a person and put them on a ATV that is too big for their size,
PHYSICAL STRENGTH,level of experience, and sometimes motor skills, this is a recipe for DISASTER! Contary to popular belief, we DONT ride ATVs, we OPERATE them. We RIDE merry-go-rounds because we have no control over their pre-set destiny.
We OPERATE ATVs, another words, we control how and what makes the ATV navigate.A smaller person,REGARDLESS of experience level, does NOT have the physical size and STRENGTH to overcome what a big bore ATV is capable of throwing at him/her in certain circumstances while riding a HARSH trailway, mudpit, hills, ect??.
A bigger/stronger person can more easily overcome some of the severe obstacles of the trailway on a big bore ATV much easier than a smaller person can because they have more capabilty with their larger and more muscular body to do such a thing.
I own the big bore Bombardier 800, I know what it is and I know what it takes to handle such a monster [I have the 2-seater].Im a big guy at 250lbs and even I can have my hands full with this machine at times.I've also OWNED the Rincon and the KQ too.
I wont try and convince Megan NOT to buy a big bore, I'll just ask that she takes into concideration what many of us agree with in regards to her safety.
Best of luck and have FUN no matter WHAT you buy.

I do not really understand why everyone is so concerned w/ my safety. I did purchase the King Quad. I was riding a 360 Prarie prior to this which weighed the same weight. I did have it land on me so I am aware that you can get hurt and I do ride safe. I also wear the proper protection. Once again I never said I was going to be popping wheelies and acting like an idiot on this machine. I just stated that I had outgrown both the 250 and the 360 and needed something w/ a little more power. Which I now have and am very happy with. I agree safety first. I do and will continue to ride safe. I am aware that you can and most likely will get hurt at one point or another. I LOVE riding though so this is a risk I am willing to take as are the rest of you.
ATVtech I never did get an I am sorry, but Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to you as well.
