Thanks Skooter,
Hopefully we will not be hearing from him anymore Oh well I'll have to take some pics of the new quad and post them. Think he's just jealous.

ATVTech1 just has poor people skills. He really has good reasons for what he says, but he has a bad way of saying it.
He is just concerned that someone doesn't become another statistic. It hurts all of us when someone gets in over their head and gets hurt. Good thing utility atvs are relatively slow, but 700ccs is still no rookie's ride, and outgrowing a 250 or taking a short ride on a bigger machine without crashing it doesn't mean you are a rider without skill limits or a rider that can push a 600+lb 700+cc ATV to its limits.
You should all settle down.

wow, everyone in MD a toughguy?
yes, 75 is slow when you could be going 100 on a CR500.
75 in the woods on a ute, you either have some pretty wide open woods (we call those fields here) or you are a statistic waiting to happen
there is a faster vehicle for any riding you think you are the fastest at with your ATV

I never said I would be pushing my KQ to it's limits. I just stated the fact that the 250 and Prarie 360 did not have enough power for me. I never said I was gonna get the thing and ride it like a idiot. How come you guys don't tell the guys who are purchasing these 650cc+ machines that they better be careful and they can't handle it. I don't think I have seen one guy tell another guy to be careful and he can't handle it???? You can ask anyone who has ridden w/ me that I can indeed handle it. On this forum that would be skooter, melloman230, husky100, and the president of my atv club speedyracer0. I can assure you they all will tell you that I can handle it just fine. As will my finace who is not on this forum.

Hmmm and I just looked at speedyracer0's pic page and I am pic #2 on there. Odd that he would have a pic of me being on one of the experienced rides since I can not handle a 650cc+ machine and all. If you look on my pics page you will see the same exact pic.

ouch, that hurts
well I used to be tuff, then I bought an ATV
older all the time, slower and wiser more often. having kids and not being one anymore (well sometimes) does that to you....
be sure to let me know when you MD quad-racers head up to CT MA or NY, I'll be sure to stay off the trails that day so I don't get hit by some fool doing 75 on the trails
based on your posts you would have gotten advice regardless of gender. don't take it personally. Just be careful.
motorcycle riders buy quads to slow down, people that can't ride motorcycles buy big ATVs to try and go fast
