seriously though, someone must have answer for this question, or at least an idea, any help is apreciated. I have never owned an ATV before, I work on cars quite a bit and am pretty good but just am unfamiliar with this ATV and dont have a manual yet

I am using the valvoline atv oil that I buy at pep boys. Any oil that DOES NOT SAY "energy conserving" is ok. I usually buy two quarts of elcheapo oil when I buy a machine and change the oil first, run it for a riding session and change it to clean out the case then add good oil. I notice I seem to be the only person I know that changes the oil on their machine for some reason. Everyone else thinks it'll last a year or so. I change mine a few times a year and I don't ride much.

In the winter I'd use 10 w30 and in the summer I'd use 10w40. Hold on though and I'll check the bottle for weights...... Well, my valvoline is all 10w40 so I guess you can scrap that one. I'll be putting it in mine this weekend so I guess just use whatever..
