IM 15 and about to buy a bayou 220,i want to know if I can keep up with my friend on his 1984 TRX200 and my other friends recon..thanks

 

It's probably gonna keep up for the majority of the time in the tight trails where you cant just go flying through, although you'll probably get burned on the straightaways....Ive got my machine up to 53 or so on the highway with the tires pumped up :-)

 

Will it get beat by the recon or trx200

 

Unless they get paid to go faster, why worry?

 

why would you be that concerned about going fast? the majority of the time you're running in low 5th or 4th gears.. you can only go so fast unless ur in a raptor or a banshee :-)

 

Well, you would git beat by a recon BUT not by a TRX200.On trails I can keep up with just about anything. The speed ain't to shabby though. It won't go 53mph though.(MAYBE in the back of a truck though)

 

You shouldn't have to worry about getting beat by a TRX (yawnfully slow) and i don't know about a recon.. all i know is i can kill all 3 with my Trail Boss

 

yes it goes about 50 or so... 53 going down a large hill on the main roads right next to my dad in his truck... i was on the machine and he was driving... 53 mph with non-stock tires and pumped up to like 7 or 8 pounds/sq/in
