How do u know when you angle sensor is bad? Is it when you test the ohms(resistance) and its not b/w 1.6 and 2.4 kohms. Getting code five on the display, dieelectric greased all connections ill be test the ohms tomarrow.

my rubicon is a 2001 with over 1000 miles, never had this part fail.... should I be concerned? Is it driveable if one dies out on the trail? Where is it located? My rubicon has been 100% bulletproof

9000 miles of hell and i dont know if this the prob. Yeah its still ridable but it doesnt seem to go past 3rd gear. It tested 1.4kohms which is just below the specs, I think alls i have to do is pull the sensor off (underneath the exhaust) and turn the reduction gear a little.
