Hey I just got a new 2002 Honda 400ex. I have been riding it for awhile and decided that i needed more power so i started looking for a exhaust and im pretty sure im going to go with the LRD one. I was wondering if anybody out there could tell me anything about them? Also i would like to know if it is loud or not?

 

It is a very nice pipe but i think you would b better off goin with the hmf.

 

Yea but Ive heard bad things about HMF from some of my buddys who have them.

 

i love mine never had any problems with it.

 

The lrd is a very good pipe so you wont go wrong with either.

 

lrd is dino proven and gives 5-6 hp on 400exs

With all the r&d these days and the competition,all the pipes are prettyclose,I mean nobody has re invented the wheel,(pulse charger was close)so its usually just comes down to apperance,what YOU like,as far as are they loud,,they're all loud aren't they unless you stuff em up with packing or a quiet core,,which is kinda defeating the pupose of the pipe in the first place

 

put it on the wifes 400ex and it spanks the fmf powerbomb header and powercore4 we had on there before.
