Anyone know the miles per tank I can get on a stock recon?

 

I would say 70-80 miles. On one ride this year, I had to kick onto reserve at around 60 miles. Depends on how hard you ride, too.

 

Depends on your riding style. We can easily get 70-90 miles on a tank riding hard, and can get 140 miles or more riding easy.

 

recon 98 how did you do your snorkel and who did you go through for the .050 over piston and what not ? thanks

 

For the snorkel, I went to Lowes and bought five feet of 1 1/2" inch ABS pipe and a bunch of elbows of all sizes, 45,60 and 90 degrees, and some street elbows in these sizes. Spent about 18 bucks. Fiddled around with them until they were what I wanted and glued 'em together.
The piston comes from your friendly Honda dealer....

 

The most miles put on one tank of gas was 60. The Recon still looked 3/8 to 1/2 full. These quads don't use any gas.

 

lol friendly my ***. they are retarded always messing up soemthing when i order parts. Were does the end of your snorkel end at ? is it by the racks or what ? think you can send me a picture of it ? thanks
