Default Mounted 424 in glove compartment on 2006 350 rancher

Not quite sure what honda calls the little compartment on the left side of where the gas tank (or side plastic) is...so for lack of a better word - I call it glove compartment.

Anyway, I mounted a warn 424 selector (little red button) inside this easily acessible fist-size cavern.

I'll try and put a picture or link here:

The mounting is solid and in a great location to reach in and push or pull to engage the 4wd selector. The 45 degree angle is perfect for grabbing.

I kept asking but nobody really ackowleged whether or not this has been done before. Looks great and works excellent too!

I'm sure there are the many (or most) who prefer it mounted up-top (on the plastic or the front rack) in the event they get stuck and need it quickly, with the way I mounted it you really would need to slow up or stop and open the compartment and engage it - that is unless you left the door off when riding in iffy terrain situations.

If there is others who wondered about this location like I did...

IT WORKS GREAT!

Thanks.
