I own a 2001 Honda 300EX and I am looking for an exhaust that has a nice finish and good sound. Spark arrestors are not a big deal to me since all I do is ride on my property and have no near neighbors, so this thing can be as loud as heck!! I am looking at rather the CobraJet system or another system from DG with a polished finished. Any input on this subject will be greatly appreciated.

 

go to partsdirect.com and look at the hmf slip on u can get it for 229 with shipping inssurence and everyone told me it was the best pipe for my 300ex

 

My buddy has a white brother e series on his 300ex it gives 4 to 7 hp and it sounds good to and pretty darn loud they are around 230$ not a to bad price if you ask me

 

i own a 05 300ex and i plan on putting a hmf sport series on it. www.hmfengineering.com says thier around 250 bucks for the full system, and it has the optional quiet core.

 

Steer clear of that DG and Cobra crap. I had a Pro Circuit T-4 on my 250X (same exhaust as 300EX ) and I really liked the looks and sound of it. It had a removable spark arrestor and you could run different outlets on it to supposedly tune it...I'm not to sure the different outlets made much / any different but I did really like that pipe.

 

I ran a FMF Mega Max on mine and i really liked it. It came with a quite core and 12 discs so you could tune it however you would like. I acually didn't run any discs or spark arrestor on mine, Made it alot louder but the power it produced was worth every bit.. When i bought that exhuast it was like $240 for the full system..
