how much HP gain will I expect from a DMC exhaust and will it improve bottom end ??

CAN YOU SAY OVERRATED !!!!!!!!!!!
SAVE YOURSELF SOME MONEY BUY THE YOSHIMURA FULL SYSTEM MORE HP AND TORQUE THAN DMC ..................

I'd recommend a DMC, you gain 5 mph on top end.
Hey bigboy400ex, have you ever raced a 400EX with a DMC pipe? I bet you'd change your tune if you did.

yes it has raced a 400ex with dmc .
with a differant more the same size rider ...with wheels of ground about 6-8 inches it stayed in front of the 1 with the dmc....on dyno made more hp and torque ...........

not alot of differance in hp an torque bt it had more and is cheaper....more money for other performance mods...

The DMC Exhaust sysytem is the best performing exhaust for the 400EX. If you plan on building your EX, the pipe even works better. I guess the yoshi system would be good on a stock bike, but if you plan on building your engine at all, the yoshi exhaust does not flow well enough and you would be restricting your engine. Go with the DMC. I will have mine at the end of the month.
