I just bought a 2001 Recon but the right side rear hub is stripped out i'm in the process of ordering a new one but does anybody know anything that you can put on the new hub or axle to prevent the axle from stripping out because i'm worried that new hub will strip the axle off then its goin to have to be a brand new axle in there.

 

I have 2 recons and this is a constant battle. You may try loc tite. I dont know if it will work or not. I use a little grease to keep the rust at bay which I feel is what wears on the splines. then bang them on there with a rattle wrench. Good luck.
