Default Rancher Vibration Noise

I just bought an 04 Rancher. The valves needed adjusting so I did that today and now I notice a vibration noise when the rpm's are up, it almost sounds like a heat shield or skid plate loose noise, but I check all that and it's still their. Any suggestions?

Don't know if this is your problem, i have an 05 Foreman and noticed a rattle when the engine would warm up. Turns out is was a loose baffle in the muffler, it was under warranty and the dealer fixed it.

My Rancher mad a similiar noise, I later found the heat shield on the exhaust was vibrating A few shims and all good. A good way to check is while riding, Put your foot on the shield, see if it stops?

Good Luck!!

I found the problem today it was the heat shield for the pipe at the bend right above where you put oil in the motor. The nut had come off, I replaced it and fixed the noise.

Thanks
