i'm actually thinking of swaping the stock tires from my raptor to my wifes 250ex and ipicking up a set of holeshots. IMO the stock tires suck on the trx and she would have much more grip with the dunlops that come on the 700R. in your case replacing the stock tires with holeshots or equivalent might be a good idea.

A perfect trail tire for honda 250's is the Maxxis Sur Trak. They have great traction in all kinds of terrain, good puncture resistance, and they won't make the rear end bounce all over the trail like flat sport tires do (like holeshots and razrs.) Another great trail tire is the Kenda Klaw. They're a little more on the sportier side, but the tread isn't as aggressive.

Hey, if your lookin' to improve traction and give the 250 a lil better side to side balance you should try a set of 20x11-9 Maxxis razr probably 4 ply would ride better than six and they would grab on just about any terrain they're about 70 bucks a tire, and I will probably put a set on my 06 250 EX after I wear out my stock dunlops. not terribly expensive and will sure make the quad more stable through turns and climbin'
