Fliped my Rubicon today!!!
#1
Today i was riding on the side of a hill and i fliped my new Rubicon. That time it didnt do any damage. Then I let one of my friends ride and he fliped it!! That time it rolled completely over. I lost three bolts on the right mud flap, the left side of the handlebars got bent down a little bit, the headlight on the bars got bent down a bit and when the bars are turned straight the right front wheel looks like it is pointing out a bit. So what should I do???

First of all I would make sure my friend pain for the damages, that is if you have to buy any new parts. Wheels are easy, just adjust the tie-rods. Put a pipe on the handle bars and bend them back, it should be easy. Try to bend the haedlight back, but the bracket might be bent. What you do about that is up to you. I would fix it.
I was wondering, how did you flip it? On a side hill? Was it really step? I was wondering what the Rubican can do. I don't know how experinced you are, but pegging the gas usualy saves my butt.

I was on the side of a hill and it was very steep, I dont know if drove over something I didnt see but it started to tip and I tryed to just ride it out but I stoped it from rolling all the way over, I stoped it on its side.

Why make the friend pay for the damages? If it was my friend and he wrecked my quad I would have some understanding of it. Yeah, I would like for my friend to at least help pay for some of it, but it would also be partly my fault for letting that friend ride it. If it is an accident then there is nothing they could have done about it.

What a bummer. Wonder if the Ruby is more top heavy then the 450-s I have. Lots of miles and it has yet to be wrecked. Lots of mountain cow herding, and goofing off involved. I trust this machine much as a good horse. It has yet to do me wrong. Sounds like there might be a c/w tune there somewhere.
