I would like to know the top speeds of all of the Recon owners out there. I did 45 on mine completely stock,what about ya'll?

 

I think 45-48 MPH.I am using a Bell bicycle speedometer.

 

i had mine at 45 rev limiter kicked in then. I was right next to a 2000 W900 Kenworth. So im pretty positive that speedometer is accurate

Top speed 38.5 on radar. Go to atvnews.com. and read about project Recon. With a pipe, K@N fiter,jet kit,racks removed,alum.wheels and better tires it could only do 42.2 mph. I think 46 mph stock is streching it quite a bit..

 

46 sounds about right. The top speed on my Bayou 220 is 44. (clocked with my speedometer). and the Recon is faster than the Bayou, at least I think it is . it should be anyways, but every quad is different.

 

Top speed is around 45 or 46 mph.

 

This is a good reason not to believe everything you read. If this mag only could go 38 MPH on a stock Recon, that bike had a problem. Also, the power kit will NOT increase top speed. Unless it wasn't running right in the first place....
