I finally got a chance to see a yellow 400ex up close and this is my opinion only.I did not like it because the yellow did not seem to be a bright attractive yellow like the DS650.It kinda has a brownish yellow to it.I was not very impressed with it.I am not trying to start any wars here I was just wondering if anyone else agrees with me on this??Id stick with the Bright Red if I were to get another 400ex.Dont forget just my opinion here.

 

Just saw the pix and it looked cool.I'll have to see it up close also....

 

they look good in pics except the hubs and shock springs. but in person the yellolooks bad in my eyes. maby with a grafix kit i don't know.

 

I'm not trying to offend anyone, but I think the red EX looks much better. The yellow is sort of drab looking, and what's up with the red springs and hubs???

 

ok, lets bash our brothas,hehe j/k....well my best friend has a ds 650 and another a yellow 98 banshee and all are exactly the same color.....ive got many pics of my quad i can put up....the yello may be a tad, A TAD, on the orange side but by the average persons eye, the ds and ex are the exact same yellow......dont get me wrong the red is a bad motha too, my bro has one.....let me just say this, ALL 400ex's are bad mothas .....ive got friends with yellow, blue, red, white, purple, black and recently green....all are just too sweeeeeeeeeeeet., peace!

 

I agree with you guys. I think it is great that Honda offers the 400Ex in a different color, but why yellow? I personally would purchase the red 400ex because yellow is just not one of my favorite colors. And like you said, they look great in photos, but upclose is totally different.

It looks like I am in the minority around here. I think the Yellow 400ex is better looking than the red one.

 

Is the yellow the same color yellow as the yellow foreman?

 

I think they should make it white and red or black with red graphics that would be sweet. just stay out of the woods on the black one.

 

I like the yellow.
