would i have to re-jet if I put in a UNI air filter? my rancher is all stock right now. I hope i dont have to, i dont want to take the carb apart, it's still under warranty and i dont want to mess with anything.

no you do not have to re-jet after putting a uni filter in.

I would at least do a plug check after the install of a new filter. Most likely you wont have to re-jet.

There are two issues: The UNI flows better than stock, but that factory support screen is probably more of a limiting factor for airflow than any filter. Other UNI filters come with a less restrictive insert, but this one does not for some reason (????). I have called them and asked why, and nobody really was able to give me an answer. Call them and bug them and maybe we can get this changed!

The other thing is that Honda jets LEAN at the factory to meet emissions standards. So, adding a UNI that flows even a little better than stock, makes the situation even worse!
