What do you all think about the 2000 Honda Rancher? I am hoping to buy one soon and I was hoping to find out what you all have to say about it. THe Rancher is the same as the Rancher ES except you have to shift gears with your left foot instead of with your left thumb. So what do you all think about it????

I personally like the foot shift better. The one plus side on the ES model is the floorboards. It really helps to keep you dry. But you can buy an after market set to. Overall it's a great quad from what I have seen. I have never ridden one personally but have seen them in action. As for the 2-wheel drive you'll have to be a little more aggressive but, don't fret it will go most places 4X4's do.

Go with the ES. I used to only drive foot shift quads and when I first got it I was a little skeptical, but after you ride it for about hour you will never want to go back. and the ES system is rock solid. I flipped it, sank it, floated it, wheelied it, towed it, rammed it, and kicked it. Not one problem yet. Plus for the extra $200 they'll charge you, you get nice floorboards an electronic speedo, trip, and hour meter. Go with ES you won't be sorry!! Ride on.

00' racher 4x2 es, 26"x12 mud runners on the rear, 1500lb winch w/ 50 ft.cable, herculined rack
