carb problem

Default carb problem

Here is my problem, when i climb a steep hill or pull a wheely i get a dead spot in the middle and top end, if i take the carb off and clean it , then its fine till i do a steep hill climb or a wheely again, ive tried every adjustment posible,what would cause this? its a 99 300ex, your input would be greatly appreciated THANKS.

so you have played with the fuel mix screw under the carb.

Sounds like your float in your carb might be set too high so it will flood out whenever you get on a steep incline.

i didn,t see a way to adjust the float, its all plastic with just the pin and valve, how do you adjust it? thanks

tat pin inside of the plasic has washers and a clip on should be set on 3 or 4 for most locations remmber not to lose the washers and were each was.
