What was the first year honda put reverse on the 400EX? I have a Rincon and a Rancher...My 15 yr old son wants a sport quad. Where we ride reverse is a must.

 

i believe the first year it had reverse was 05 witch is also the first year it came out with 450r style plastics

How bout the 300EX, does it have reverse? If so what was the first year they offered reverse?

 

300ex have always had reverse since the first year they were put out and there great bike for the woods i loved mine but ounce i got into racing it just didnt have enough power and they also have a pritty large aftermarket list since they have been out for so long u can go wrong with a 300ex

umm... waht size is your son?
maby a raptor 350? although those arent that great they are 6 speed with reverse..
if you wanted something in the 400's go with a kfx/z 400 and you wont regret.. many say they are a notch above the 400ex's and also have always had reverse
