barkeepers friend ?
#1
I was wanting to know if anyone has used this on their atv, or if you know if it would be safe to as I do not want to remove the powder coating. Also is it ok to use regular motor oil on your air filter or as well any like steering fluid, brake fluid, you know stuff like that??

BArkeepers friend is a mild abraisive. It will not take off powdercoat but it may take the shine out of it. Powdercoating is very tough and does not scratch easily so not sure what would happen to the shine. I use it on my car windows and it works great for acid rain spots and bugs but I would not use it on my paint. You need to use a filter oil because motor oil is too thick, brake fluid will will eat it.
