How do you achieve big air?
#11
One reason that I like winter so much is because when my dad plows, i take the wheeliers out and jump the snowpiles he makes. Last year we were jumping a pile that was 4 feet, but it was almost vertical on top. We got a lot of air, and I got the hang of it so I wasn't bottoming out, and this was a Honda 300 4x4. This year we will take picts and post them. I hit it will a Recon with the gas pegged and i was airborne for a long time, but it was dark and i couldn't see where i was. According to my tracks, i cleared 30 - 40 feet.

I'm glad you're kidding, Team400EX. I think beer tastes nasty, and I'm not old enough to drink it anyway. The jump I jump isn't big or steep, but it's the best there is in my area. I can clear 15 feet, but the CR250s and KX125s clear 30-35 feet.

jumping a recon? be careful you don't break anything, yourself included.
the 300ex, i can get some nice air on this...lol you guys are going to laugh..a 5 feet table top!...about 6 feet up if i hit it in 3rd really getting on it.
I don't have much in the way of jumps..

I used to race MX on my recon. I would jump 30-40 feet in distance and about 6 feet up. Hit the jump as fast as possible while standing up and give it a good boost of whatevers left of the throttle. Dont jump the recon repeatedly or your shocks will be gone in a little over a month.
