Go for it! I'm sure there not as quick as the bike but there's not many quads for you to fear! I like four wheels more the older I get.

We clocked my 450r with a full pipe re-jetted and K&N filter at 74 MPH. this was with a truck running right beside me. i'm not sure how fast your bike will go, but the best thing about the quad is how fast it gets you that speed.

it sounds like you guys are happy with quads. my bike was clockes at 93 mph on a dirt road. i just got back from the dunes with it and there is nothing that it won't climb. i just want the same thing in a quad. i want to have more power than i need when i need it. thanks for youre guys feed back. it helps a lot. i was also in my local honda shop looking and asking questions today and was told that the 06 is considerably faster than the 04 or 05. they made a lot of differences and the 06 quad is very fast, pretty much dead even with the yfz 450. that bike i have heard is very fast as well. but i want to stick with honda.

The dirtbike is obviously going to be faster, the thing weights 130 pounds less and has 10 more horsepower stock.

yes i did take that into consideration, but anything is possible with mods. i just did not want to be under powered or anything. i will have to sell the bike and then i will buy the quad. but the quad does look really cool, i deffinatly like the body style.
