Hey, not to rob this thread, but what does the limiter do and how does it work? Can you over ride it?

You can over ride it but you would be running mad high rpm's once you hit 65. I have read of guys doing 70-73 but running bigger tires and some mods with the limiter over ride. The limiter will start to cut spark at a certain rpm's so you dont over rev the motor. If it had a 4spd trans it would be great.

my buddy is thinking of getting the rincon(06) would it ride well with him and his girl on it? around 450lbs?

I ride with a guy who has the 680 Rincon...top speed is low around...60mph...handles great but it's no speedster

Thats weird unless he has big tires on it. I have 25" mudlite xl that are the size of a 26" and it tops out 65 on the gps.

Mykool,

It would ride fine but the stock tires suck. They are way too soft. The seat has plenty of room for 2.

Road with 2 06 Rincons last weekend and cruised right past them at 65. I would guess they were topping out at 60 - 62. My buddy easily pasted them on his 05 Popo 500 as well.
