Default 680 Rincon top speed?

Trooper,
No way the 500 is going to beat the 680. It wont even beat the 650. I have a sp600 and a rincon 650. The 600 smokes the 500 ho and the rincon beats the 600. The rincon hangs with a 700 up to about 55 then the 700 starts to creep by. The rincon tops out at 65 when the limiter kicks in. The 700 will beat the 650 by about 4-5 quad lengths in a 300' drag. I was Polaris loyal but too many problems made me get the Honda.

The 500 must have been in the back of a truck!

Only quoting what I saw. I smoked both on my 700. At about 55 - 58 I saw the Popo 05 500 HO pull away from them. Sorry this upsets you loyal Honda guys. It upset these two guys that day too. I also outdid both 680 Rincons in the mud that day but true to Popo form I lost my FWD and had to have one of the Rincons pull me up the river bank

I should hope so, with low range, true 4WD, and tons of ground clearance. Beating a Rincon in the mud is really nothing to brag about, and I own one.

However, try hanging with those 680's when you actually have to drive the machine, for example on fast windy trails, and you'll be waaaaaaaaay behind.

and no ute period would ever do 85 - 90!
>>>>>>>>>>>&gt ;

The Outlanders are supposed to be able to hit 82.........I can get mine up to 70 with no problem and its pulling strong still but I usually back off about 72-75, just too dang fast, no need to go fast like that anyway.

Actually rode just those kind of trails for 4 hours that day. Can't remember once being more than 4 - 5 bike lengths (for safety) behind them the whole time. Enough said.

Nah, not enough said. Those Rincon "riders" were of very poor skill level. As much as Sportsmans are head and shoulders above the Rincon in mud, Rincons put Sportsmans to shame on those types of trails. It's a well documented fact. Nothing you can do about it...

Agreed. I ride with an Outy 800. We've both been riding about the same time. I'll kill him on the trails were there rutted and off camber. On a straight away he can leave me like I hit the brakes. I also ride with a SP 600 from a 15mph roll, I left him. Second gear we were side by side until 3rd. I've ridden the 500 H.O. It was a nice ride but even the owner said the 600 would bust him. So I have a very hard time believeing that a 500 left 2 680s.

I disagree.....I have both and the Outlander takes corners MUCH better then my Rincon, not nearly the body roll.

I didn't mention corners. But I'm not going to start a bash fest. I like the Bomb. I've got a good bit of seat time on it and love the power. But I stand by my statement, Between the 2 of US. Different riders and the results are different.
