ok, so the ES has completely stopped working, no noise or anything when you try to shift? Is there any codes that come up?

I would think that maybe your shift motor is bad, or you have bad wiring, etc. Maybe the shift switches went bad? Check the fuses? Try to narrow it down for us

good luck

Default Help...Ive got troubles!!

Thanks for answering, a little more detail, my es switches are not making any sounds, no codes or any respones.I checked the fuses under the seat and they were all good. I called the honda dealer an they told me to check the nuetral and reverse lights and I have both of them......so if you can think of anything else....it will greatly be appreciated...

well if theres no noise at all, i would think you maybe have a bad shift motor. Unplug the shift motor with the key off, and hook up a 12v test light across the plug coming from the wire harness, so that the test light is plugged in in place of the shift motor. turn the key on and try to shift gears. If the light lights up, in both up and down shift, then you probably have a bad shift motor. If it still doesnt work, maybe buy a manual and start checking for power at the ECM connectors that have power with the key on. Also check the ground circuits too.

Ok,I ll check the shift motor, just to make sure the location of the shift motor,is it the round cylinder that come off the front of the engine or is it in another location.Just before it went out, on my last ride when I would first start moving it would go from 1-4 just fine but once I stopped shifting it wouldnt shift into 5 and it wouldnt down shift I would have to turn it off....but like I said now nothing..

I did figure it out, turns out it was a simple fix,the power supply plug under the fuse box under the seat was loose.
