brake job
does anyone know were to get a complete brake system online?( consisting of the brake shoes front, and rear, new cables, or is there any way to take the slack out of the rear brakes, maybe springs or something)my buddy has had nothing but problems with his 04 rancher 350 brakes. they were good for the first year, but have slowly went to hell. the front brakes work great after you pump them for a minuite(how do you bleed them?, is it like a car, in the manual they act like it so hard.) and the back brakes wont grab at all after going muddin last week end. we have taken the rear apart before and roughed up the surface on the shoes, and the worked better for a while, but the dude im talking about kept tightning the bolts on the rear brake adjusters when all that was wrong was that the brakes got wet and glazed over, just roughed it up with a file, but it seems like the lines have alot of play in them now, my question is that if there is any way to take that slack out of the rear lines, like new springs or will it need newlines.and the front adjusters are full of mud how can i clean out?

if you got mud in both the front or the rear, seals ae needed, rear brakes can only be worn so much, unless you moved the linkage on them, then that needs to be set back to orginal position, on the front you can buy complete assemblies on ebay for 100 bucks, once you need to start pumping, its time to completely change the brake fluid and clean the drums, also the drum seal on the fronts need to be replaced and refilled with grease, good luck brakes are high maintence on these things
