well it doesnt take that much experience to drag race. ok, i was just going by what these people have said. they said the new raptor doesnt have the response and power of the 660 stock. i havent ridden one to know. i have raced both and they seem about equal to me. of course they were behind me so i cant tell what happened as far as distance behind me

.
When I had my '04 450R with stage II hotcam and uni filter with the 2 inch end cap in the pipe I would just beat the stock Raptor by about 1 length. I couldn't beat the Raptor with the K&N, Cherry Bomb and PCIII fuel injection remapping device.
Now I have made mine a 480R with ported and polished head, stage II hotcam, uni filter and FMF Q2 slip-on.
We just got back from the dunes where we raced many times on the flats and up comp hill.
Both of the Raptors now have Dual LTE exhaust, K&N filters, PCIII fuel injection remapping device.
I was pretty much even with one of the Raptors, we traded wins. It all depended on who got the best jump.
The other Raptor was dyno'd with a custom fuel map and he would pull me every time. On the flats and up the hills.

Lol, you put that exact same post somewhere else in the forums didnt you...lol... But the 660 i guess does have more torque than the 700 but the 700 is faster in top end. Who knows til you race one stock to stock. Id rather have the 700 though, better handling and no more cleaning carbs and jetting 2 carbs....AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
