Hi I have a 91 Honda 350 4x4 that usually spends alot of time sitting in the garage when I'm away. I took it out for a drive last week and it worked fine until i hosed it down after the ride. It never started again since. I pulled the spark plug out and there was no spark when I grounded it out on the frame and tried the start button. I was worndering how I counld go about testing components such as the coil, cdi and such using a multimeter. I don't have the money to buy non refundable parts just to try them out on my machine. Also I know that the cdi was replaced 5-10 years ago.
Any help would be appreciated.

 

I would checx to make sure all of the wires are attached first. Trace from your coil and make sure none of the connections have come loose. It is likely that you disturbed something when you were hosing down your machine.
