In the market for a 300ex and have been looking at a few of the early to mid 90's models. Is there anything I need to lookout for when looking at these model years? Did they have any known problems other than normal wear and tear?

All I heard was good stuff, from all the years, which is why I went with the 300EX (not to mention the closeout sale). I think its going to be a great 2nd bike and intermediate for my son.
