Default front end grinding noise

Yes grinding while in turn with bearing gone would cause that. Well I never done one on Wheeler yet, so don't know how hard it is. Can't be too complicated, I don't think you would need a puller or anything. You will need some tools though and mechanical know how and bearing packer. Unless you do it by hand.

Ive replaced my bearings in my ds 650 they were really easy make sure you get the oil seal and stuff. Also repack the bearing(using packing grease to make sure its lubed) then slide the race in and the bearing and then the oil seal and make sure that everything is tight when u put it back together but don't overtighten. Or else you could take the risk of ruining another bearing if its not right.
