Default Tires for 300 4x4

A family member just picked up a '99 300 4x4 and it needs some tires (especially on the front). What do you recommend for general utility use? I was looking a the Carlisle 489 A/T for about $53 from RMATV. Planning on sticking with stock tire size as I hear the larger tires wear the drivetrain more.

Thanks

I have an Honda 1993 300 like yours. For years I scraped bottom on everything out there. Every rock in my
county had my signature on it. I called Highlifter about 5 years ago, and they claimed that the Highlifter
lift kit really benefitted the 300, and they recommended 26in Titan 589 for the back and 25 in Titans for
the front.

I installed all of this. I think they made a mistake on tires sizes though. I believe that 25 in on the rear
and either 24 or 25's for the front would have been better. I have a severe power loss from the
big tires. There is a huge difference in the 25" titan and the 26" .. However I have been running these
for 5 or 6 years now and no other problems.

They make tires in 22, 23, 25, 26, 27 and 28, why not 24.
