I got the JD performance ones for $445 and they are great. Adjustable, chromoly, and the only person here that out jumps me (that I know of) is Gabe and he runs stockers. Mine haven't broken or bent yet and I don't think that they will. I came up short and landed right into the face of a 45ft uphill double (third gear) and injured my knee, ankle, and foot, but my quad was fine (except for the keyholder, taillight, rear axle a little, and of course airbox #3)

P.S. I see nothing wrong with shopping for price. I do it all the time on quad parts, but in the magazines they are all close in price. I order from Nac's, Rocky Mountain, Chapparal, James Lucky and Dennis Kirk and Recreation Unlimited. I ordered from Last Rebel once and got ripped off $110, but if I can order from one and save a few bucks, why should you care?
For example, I order all plastic from Recreation Unlimited simply because of their free shipping. I order tires from Rocky Mountain because they are $1 or $2 cheaper for the same thing and shipping is the same.
Here is the crime. I wanted an xr400 cam. my dealer said $178. I called a dealer 40 miles away $165. 13 dollar difference. I called servicehonda.com for the hell of it. Brand new factory Honda part shipped to my door for $112. I don't mind my dealer making a few bucks off of me, but not 30-40% I will never order a factory Honda part from anyone else.

Hakmazter,
The JD's sound good. Especially for their price. Do they have an problems with them? I know some brands have "stereotypes" that go along with them.

Which adjustments do they have? Both camber and caster? Or what? How long have you had these on your quad? Also, how often do you get big air? If they are really strong, they would be wonderful for that low price.

I've been told that the Houser a-arms are really good too. Have you seen them? http://www.houser-racing.com/a_arms.htm

How do you think they would compare to the JD Performance a-arms? Didn't "Dirt Wheels" do an article on the JD Performance a-arms a while back? AND, one last question (if there weren't already enough). How do I get in touch with JD?

there is always some idiot out that that wants to pay retail. Seems to me that if you could save a couple bucks on a purchase, you could afford to buy something else. If you don't watch your money nobody else will. To the person that reamed this guy about pinching pennies i can't believe that you have never bought something on sale. Maybe just maybe you are still spending your parents money.

I agree to that

The cheapest place to get shocks that are good is www.worksperformance.com

You can get shocks for virtually any ATV...if you can't find it then email'em. They will make them specially for you.
