Ok, on my 93' Fourtrax 300 the wiring harness is gone to %$@#. So I am seeking help to find the simplest way to get the ignition coil to fire. Running a wire from the battery straight to the coil will not work ( because it will burn out the coil). I am gonna try to run a wire from the green wire on the voltage regulator, but i wont now if this will work because I first have to replace the regulator. I also dont know what the black wire with the white stripe goes to or what its there for (it obviously isnt the ground wire because I have another wire that is screwed into the frame).

Any help or suggestions are GREATLY APPRECIATED!

 

Your best bet, is find a service manual, itll have the wiring diagram in it.
