When you buy a jet kit, 90% of the cost is the instructions. Jets are about 2 bucks each.
Jetting isnt difficult if you are somewhat handy with a wrench, and can keep track of where things go back to , inside the carb. Its not that difficult.
THere are guidlines on how to jet online, and heres a link to one of the better ones.
jetting
Keep in mind, it is much better to be too rich, than to be too lean. Too lean will cause damage, and putting a freer flowing air filter on,and a freer flowing exhaust, is gonna lean the motor.

Forget the jet kit=JUNK. Go to the parts counter and get a 112 main and a 42 pilot and you should be fine. Do a little reading and take you time and you will have no problem. Dont tighten them to much. less than 2 ft pounds. You can do it by feel. I did our 250 ex and a 112 main and 42 pilot hit it right on the spot. I'd vent the air box also. You"ll have no problems and after doing it once you will gain some know how.

Jetting is simple. You can get jets at the dealer or jetsrus.com. They only cost a couple of bucks each. Start with a 42 pilot and 112 main. But you may have to try a little bigger and maybe alittle smaller on the main jet. The 42 should be right. Why are you going to pay a dealer to put on the pipe? Its also a very straight forward job and probably most people on here would be happy to help talk you through it. Save your money for fuel and do it yourself.
