How much more power is there and is ther any other differences

 

I have the 650, I ride with a friend who has the 680. Mine has a pipe and K/N on it. They both feel the same as far as power goes. I haven;t raced him since he put the stock size tires back on it. But with the 27s, it wasn;t a race. Now I don't know. The 06s also have had the transmission worked a little. They shift better in auto than they did in earlier years. People who have had an 03-05 and moved to the 06 say the difference is night and day. I haven't heard anything negative about them.

 

And its called a 680. There is no 700 model.

OOPS! my bad. I was thinking of POLARIS. Please forgive me. I would never put a popo in the same class.

 

Go to Rinconriders.com and get the scoop. I can tell you that against a sp700 I am about 4 quad lengths behind and the 680 is dead even with the 700 so there is a definate power difference. Quicker throttle response and quicker overall. I still like my 650 though.
