Default Reseting the timer

Hi All... I'm new to the forum. I have a unique situation and hope you guys can guide me as to what to do.
I have a Foreman 450 ES. It's brand new I have only 7 miles on it. Anyway I was showing off to a friend and forgot to turn off the key.
I check back in a week and the battery is dead. When I replaced the battery the timer shows like 60+ hours. Is there anyway to reset back to the original.
Can the dealers do the necessary??? Please let me know. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Nope your stuck with the 60 hrs unless you buy a new cluster. I have a friend who bought a brand new Rancher and the dealer had left the key on also. It showed around 50hrs. If it could be reset everybody who was going to sell theirs would do it.

you should have the dealer write something up , ststaing th eissue you had... If you ever go to sell it I dont think your word ( no offense) will stand up, you going to have to tell someone it has less hours than the meter says.... save the battery reciept showing you bought a new battery right after it was new, and you will just have to explain what happpened.....

Isnt that kinda stupid that the meter still counts when the engine is not running.....

Thank you for the info guys.
I thought there was a way to just reset the timer without messing the mileage.
I'll prabably take a picture of the readings. I know it's not a big deal but it was just bugging me.
I didn't go to the dealer since I'm like 100 miles from the closest one.
Oh well now I'll make the best of the situation and start moding it :-)
