Default '06 Foreman 500 ES

This question is mainly for the owners of this quad only. How do you like it? Does it have a simliar feel to the older Foreman ES? I loved the feel of the older ones. I know generally most Honda's are reliable. Is this one an exception? How is the power? Noticeably more than the old 450ES? Will it fit '26inch Terracross MT's on Type 7 rims stock? Im getting ready to purchase one very soon. Thanks in advance for all replys.

I don't have one now. But I have ridden one and used to have a 450ES. The 500 is alot more powerful, has a better ride and will handle 26in tires without problems. If you loved the 450. your gonna do backflips over the 500.

Awesome! Thats exactly what i wanted to hear. Does $5,899 sound like a decent price for an '06? I may be picking up a Green one really soon.

I got the 05 foreman 500 es and that thing has enough power taht i can do wheelie from dead stop all the way through 3 gear and thats with my dad rideing and my self as passanger and my dad being 6 ft 6in and 300 pounds aint no little man. i wouldnt trade mine for anything. i barrowed one from a 03 i think it was from a friend when my father and i went hunting and we put me, my dad, one of my dads friend (just a lil bit shorter than my fateher but still aint small), 3 climber deer stands, guns and all of are gear for the day and that dam thing went up and down the revines and the washouts with ease i and i think it was stock with 26s on it to. i did have a slight rub when revearsing but other than that i think you are fine on 26s.

thats where i got mine a couple months ago. the customer service sucks but the prices are the cheapest in the SE. i thought my experience there was similar to a cattle auction...they run you through as fast as possible.

Hahaha, thats hilarious. I hope its going to be a pretty quick visit because the drive, for me, will be a lone one. But how do you like your ForemanS? How much was your OTD price on it? And these prices are forreal right? I dont want to make that drive only to find out that they are pulling my leg. Thanks for your help.

I also have one more question. Do the new Foreman 500's have a start in gear feature? If so, i wasnt aware of it, but i was told by a friend that they do. Its not a big deal at all i was just curious. Thanks.

mine has to be in neutral to start. it wont start in gear.

oh yeah the prices are for real. no gimmics or anything like that. if you finance your honda i think theresa $15 charge for that. mine was $5049 i think. i also got the 4 yr warranty($399) and the data dot theft insurance for 5 yrs($499) total out the the door was right at $6k.

how do i like it? ...i love it! ist like my old 95 400, only alot better. its not the fastest, biggest or baddest, but its the most practical one for me. and $5k for a 500 class 4x4, you cant complain about that either!
