Does any of the other Rubicon riders ever notice a vibration/rattle while riding their bikes in the mid range rpm? If I am in D1 and ride level at 30 - 33 kph I notice a rattle type sound. I have checked all exhaust bolts, brackets, heat shields and have adjusted the valves. What could it be? It sounds like it's coming from the engine. Maybe it's just the Honda sound and I will have to live with it. The bike is actually so quiet that I think I am hearing the normal sounds of the engine. Any thoughts?

That sound is normal My 05 does the same thing at that speed . I also checked everything I could think of and could not find it .Went and rode other Rubi's and they all do it to expecially after they get a few miles on them .Some say that it's the valves in the pump when there not really under a load and resonate and certain Rpm's .

I have over 400 mile's on mine and it has did it since day 1 and no Problems so far and people on other forums have the same noise Granted its annoying sometime's but Its just a normal noise So unless something happens or it gets louder dont worry about it [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
