The dealer here said a month ago that he would have some in 2 weeks. I haven't been back. I'll have to go and see if he has any.

I heard a rumour that there are 75 Rubicons in a wharehouse in ONT. But they are being witheld because the welds don't pass Canadian specs.

Don't you wonder why a Rubicon cost about the same as most other 500 utilities do in the United States but in Canada they want you to pay $1400-$1000 more than any other 500 or 600 out there for there first batch of Rubicons? Wait and see after the Rubicon is in Canda in large numbers they will have to sell them at the same price as the rest of the bikes in it's class.I would buy a H.O , Artic Cat or Yamaha and use the money I saved on a large down payment for a Caribean cruise this winter.

At $9600+ your dealer cant wait to get it in your garage either. Don't freak when you see the 2002 Rubicons selling for $8500 this spring.

That is INSANE! That is 10,200 after GST alone! If you live in the maritimes it is over 11,000!

I priced a 2001 SP500, with 26" mudrunners (these alone go for 900+ with tax!), 2500# winch($400+), front and rear RSE Tube bumpers ($99 each) and winch mount, Large Polaris Made Rear Storage Box and smaller front storage box ($150 and $100 respectively, and I get to keep the original tires for $10,200.

The prices for items are guestimates, but very close!

I was actually considering the Rubicon, but with pricing like that FORGET IT! Hopefully they are more sensible priced by the spring, which is buying time!
