Default 300ex problem HAS spark and fuel, but wont run!

Guys I had my 300 ex out this past weekend after the carrier bearing install and It was running well, but I let it sit for the night to ride again the next day and it will not RUN at all. I have checked fuel and spark. IT has BOTH. Any Ideas on what to check or do?

Thanks.

Try a new plug, even though it sparks. My 400ex, won't start and a new plug brings it around. The old one will spark, but must not be enough flash.

OK, that would be awesome. It skipped my mind as I was getting spark.

OK new plug in the am. Will let know how it goes.

Well new plug did not work. It still will not start.

Anymore ideas please. I don't have the cash to take to the dealer.

If you have fuel getting to the cylinder and spark at the plug...all thats left is compression. Hows the valve clearance?
Have you tried bump starting it? Have someone pull you around at about 7 mph, either lawn tractor other quad or truck. Keep it in 4th or 5th, clutch out and key on. If it can be started...bump starting will do it.

Well not sure on the clearence. I bought it last year and they said it had a new piston and head.
What should compression be? I will check.
Gas all the way open for this test correct?

Yes, to check compression, make sure the choke is NOT on, hold the throttle wide open, crank it over for about 5 seconds.

What should I see on the gauge for numbers?

That I'm not sure of bro. The service manual says that my Recon should have 185 psi, but it is most likely different from your 300ex. Maybe that will at least give you a ball park number if nobody gets back with you on an exact number.

OK i tried to do a compression test, but my gauge doesn't have the correct fitting for the plug. I am used to Seadoo's. Anyone know were I can by adapters?
Anyway I went to the back up plain and Bump started it behind my truck and it did start, but ran real rough. It was surgeing hard and sounded bad. Then it would start after it warmed up, but again when it cooled down it wouldn't start again.

But it ran like crap with bad surgeing the whole time.

Any Ideas? Thanks
