Got my '93 TRX300 4X4 up and running...very first time on an ATV...what a hoot! I push tractors, crawlers and dump trucks but this little puppy is just FUN! Still can't figure out why the lights stay on, one guy a repair shop said that for that year, they (the lights) were made to stay on? Anybody else hear of of that? Thanks.

 

umm... you mean they stay on All the time, like even with the key off???

If they go off when you turn the key off, it could be normal, they do the same things with some cars now. Otherwise you might have a switch problem? I dunno.

 

No, the lights (head and tail) turn on when I turn on the key, and when its running. The thumb switch doesn't turn them off. I disabled the (thumb) switch and the lights still stay on.

 

Why not just mount your own toggle switch to the bars?
