300EX Top End Rebuild
#1
Hi, I'm rebuilding the top end of my son's quad and forgot to get a manual for the torque specs, etc. I want to get it put together quick as possible and not wait on a manual to ship. Is there a place to get this info online or could someone post it from their manual? I'd sure appreciate it. Main things are head bolt and valve cover torque specs, valve rocker clearance, and any other tips you might think of. Thanks for any help!

the cylinder head bolts and flange nuts (10 mm thread) are 29 ft/lbs, and they both need engine oiling on the threads and mateing surfaces.
the 6mm threaded fasteners are 7 to 9 ft /lbs
valve clearance is .004" plus or minus .001"

Thanks hondabuster, That's what I needed! I will oil those threads. I expected the head bolt torque spec would be higher. They sure "snapped" when I broke them loose. Must have been from 10 years of time. Thanks again.
