Default Recon Shift Angle Sensor ( Recall)

Hey rabdab, ditto, I got my recall notice and am having trouble again , with the sensor, Im hoping the local shop will just give me another one, Ill replace it myself , they would take weeks. I wonder how many times they will replace it? Obviously its an ongoing problem! If you call your local shop they should have your info in there system for your receipt, they had mine and its been 2 years since the first replacement. But I love the ES ! I have an 04 foreman ES and have replaced the sensor once so far. A minor inconvienence if you can replace it yourself.

With the huge number of posts on ES problems, you had to know that there was something very basic going wrong here. Not what we typically expect from Honda. I have always warnded folks away from the ES, for this reason! Hopefully, they can get this thing fixed, because it is a nice idea.......in principle.

Jusy got back from the local honda shop with good news, Honda will not only reimburse me for the replacement sensor repair 2 years ago, they will also replace the one I am having problems with now! Also, they printed me a copy of the original receipt for the repair Another of the many reasons that I buy honda products. I think I will go for a ride in my new 06 Si!
