I am looking to buy a used honda 4x4. I am looking to obviously getting the best bike for my money. I am looking to spend around $4000 cdn. Currently I have seen a 1996 Honda Foreman 400cc with lots of extra's and is in great shape for around $4200?? What should I expect for spending $4000??

 

you could get an almost new 4x4 for 4000 canadian, look at the 06 ranchers, but if you really want used that foreman looks a little expensive for being 10 years old

 

i know it seems high but the bike is owned by an older gentleman, the tires are original, 30% worn. I was told Honda's maitain there value? Is there any manufacturing problems with the older models??

 

I have an 03 foreman 450 , and i was thinking of selling it. I was gonna start around 4000 US. Thats with low miles, welll taken care of, and needs nothing.
A 1996 for more? Its way over priced, keep looking.
Theres nothing wrong with an older foreman, they are great utility machines..its just thats old limited slip technology, and 10 year old rubber and metal, and the toughest thing on a vehicle is to let it sit...unused. Keep looking, youll find better, for less.

 

for example i just sold my 91 350 fourtrax for 3300 bucks... to the first guy who looked at it and it was well used! I am wondering what new honda you can get for around $4000??? I just bought a 500 foreman as basic as they get and i am around 10 large after taxes!!

 

Just to add...the mid 80's 3 wheelers are still going for around 1500 bucks here...my bro just sold his 86' 350 fourtrax for 2800!!!!Around here anyway, the honda's really hold thier value!!!
