Honda rincon is a great quad, it is half sport half utility machine, what's your problem with it?

Two things from the one I ride with. 39hp is pretty weak for a motor with 680cc displacement and I would never buy a 4x4 with no low range whats so ever. Low range is a feature that just comes in handy to many times.

Honda even advertised the 680 is not made for work chores and to buy a 500 Foreman or Rubicon for that purpose.

Just put a low range and power into it and it can do both worlds, the 660/700 Grizzly,650 Brute,650 Outlander and 700 Sportsman did it.

In my opinion the rincon shouldn't be compared with a grizzly, KQ or sportsman, I own both a 2005 rincon and a 2008 rubicon and yes the rubicon is better for mud and working , but the rincon is better for trail riding , speed riding , and is alot more comfortable, the rincon does have plenty of power to do things like mudding though. The rincon is just as quick as a grizzly 700 , remember the rincon doesn't have a low range but it does have a 1st gear and I'd take a real trans anyway over a screaming CVT

Why not, the 660/700 grizzly are 660cc and 686cc OHC the SP700 is a 683cc OHC. All have more power and speed then the OHV 680 (675cc) Rincon and have taller IRS suspension travel as well. Just there low range and true AWD also makes them a work horse/Mud Machine if need be.

The Rincon is a 3 speed Auto. Thats not alot of gears to choses from.

The Rincon we ride wth barely can hit 60mph down the long smooth roads sections while the 660/700 Grizzly and sp700 all can easily.

I've gotten my rincon to 63 and it's a 650 , that's plenty fast for a utility ATV, the rincon is light and although the suspension doesn't have the longest travel, it is very comfortable , and doesn't have any issues bottoming out , it is also alot less tippy , the grizzly we drive with is always on its side and the sportsman has some problems fitting through ungroomed trails, it all really depends on what you prefer , Honda will always be the most reliable and have the best ergonomics , so you have to outweigh that with the perks of the other machines , if you want the biggest, baddest and fastest ATV then go with a outlander 800
